BECOME WIDE AWAKE

TO THE BURNOUT

OBSERVE

GET WIDE AWAKE TO YOUR MIND, BODY & ENVIRONMENT

It’s hard to change your environment, neither can you change the surrounding people.

Getting aware of the stressing factors in your environment is the first step to become wide awake to the root causes of your burnout.

Nervous over excitation is the central aspect of the disease. Long term exposure to certain conditionings from your environment may lead to a BURN OUT. If you feel a lot of anxiety at the moment, there are chances you’ve been drastically overthinking since a while...

Here, are examples of external burnout factors:

  • Frequent interruptions of work processes due to telephone calls, e-mails or other disturbances

  • Permanent workload without sufficient breaks

  • Chronic overload due to excessive workload

  • Permanent tension due to work during leisure time (on holiday, at the weekend, after work)

  • Lack of emotional and financial compensation for workload

Are you familiar with one or more of these factors ? Do you know which actions you can take in your day to day life to reduce their impact on you ?

During the 2 weeks of OBSERVE:

  • We look very closely together at which old conditioning you're still carrying on the level of the mind, the body and the environment.

  • You will take a blood test to check out your deficiencies and find out about the state of your body and mind.

  • Meanwhile you get your blood test results; we guide you to choose the most adequate nutrition plan, to rebalance your hormones production in order to calm down the nervous over excitation.

EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED THROUGH THE BODY CONSCIOUSNESS

All the influences from your external and internal environment, the traumas related to your mind and body, everything is stored within the body consciousness.

“We now know through the science of epigenetics that it is not the gene that creates disease but the environment that programs our genes to create a disease.” - Dr. Joe Dispenza

You can understand the emotions you’re feeling as the chemical feedback within your body from the experiences you have in your external environment.

Stressful and traumatic influences from your external environment are mostly converted as blockages within your body consciousness.

Learn more about how the different emotions are stored within the body.

BUILD STRONG MIND & BODY FOUNDATIONS

Based on your blood results, we provide you with information about the adequate nutritional food supplements you can take to support your body furthermore.

During the 3 weeks of GROW:

  • Together, we build up your body and mind to be strong enough to develop your own healing abilities.

  • We teach you specific hypnosis and meditation exercises to get you out of the high beta brainwave state which is the specific state in which you get a constant nervous over excitation.

  • Recommending you specific yoga exercises to bring the stocked energy back in flow.

DECONDITION THE MIND, BODY & ENVIRONMENT

Internal burnout-factors

In addition to the external stress factors mentioned above, internal factors also play a decisive role.

Genetic resilience, psychological resilience are mainly looked at when it comes to internal burnout factors but the acquired resilience is also decisive when it comes to burnout development.

Many authors present personality traits as risk factors for burnout. Not all health professionals share this opinion. The frequently described "personality traits" are rather an expression of acquired psychological sabotage programs running in the subconscious mind called false beliefs.

Example of Inner Burnout Factors resulting from false beliefs:

  • Lack of self-esteem and lack of separation

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Excessive identification with the work

  • Lack of other life contents

  • Low self-esteem

  • Mental predisposition (difficult childhood, previous history of mental illness)

  • Hereditary vulnerability (susceptibility) to burnout/depression

Unprocessed emotions

Similar to reactive depression, unprocessed emotions play an important role in the development of burnout. Even if they are not the main trigger of the disease, they play a decisive role in the onset of the disease in almost all affected persons.

Unprocessed negative emotions increase the inner stress level. And at the same time, these stressful feelings lead to the fact that those affected get into a spiral of overstrain in the first place.

For the last 3 weeks of BECOME:

  • We work with hypno-analysis on the subconscious level to free yourself from the internal burnout factors and the unprocessed emotions.

  • We define yourself in terms of Ayurveda, the 2.500 years old Indian Medicine System, which gives us an indication of the original state of your mind and body constitution.

  • We teach you the basic principles and provide you with a guideline to continue keeping up the balance in your mind, body and environment.

Giancarlo

In working with Ben and Nora, I became much more aware of the sensations in my body, how to listen and tune in to the body's language of sensations. Before I wasn't really taking it too seriously how I felt, and thought I can just plough through and force myself to do anything whatsoever, but now I understand that I can use my body's sensations as a compass to determine what is right for me. Through the hypnosis sessions I got in touch with deeper and deeper layers of my subconscious mind, and realised how much was buried in there, that I wasn't even consciously aware of. It greatly improved my body mind connection, and it put me more into balance. This allowed to prevent burnout before it manifests. I also started to do daily meditations of one hour, combined with a bit a breath work. Ben and Nora encouraged me to do a 10 day Vipassana meditation retreat, which has been one of the best decisions of my life so far. I can really to what extent I am much more connected to myself, and are able to take better decisions in life, and understand which foods, which people or other external influences are good / bad for me. I also integrated daily gratefulness exercises which helped me shift my perspective. It was one of many examples where Nora and Ben showed how shifting my perspective improved my reality and the way I was dealing with my daily issues.

I did hypnosis with WA on a particular topic that was really hard on me at the time. It helped me a great deal to let go of some things that caused me suffering.

In my inner reality, certain issues took up a lot of place. It was like a mental obsession. The hypnosis brought it all into relation. It enabled me to take more control on my thoughts instead of being washed through by waves of hurtful ideas. In a way, it provided me with "mental safety anchors" to whom I could attach whenever I felt thrown back to the pain.

Chris

I was lucky enough to do a hypnosis session with Ben whilst he was travelling through Australia.

My original motivation was curiosity more than anything however chatting with Ben prior to the session we were able to narrow down on a few aspects of my life that I wasn’t entirely happy with.

Despite being setup in his van in the car park of a library Ben was able to guide me skilfully into a trance and then journey with me back through a series of childhood memory scenes and with his guidance I was able to reinterpret some events that had been impacting my subconscious mind.

Shortly after the session a number of changes took place in my life that one could easily try and dismiss as just coincidence however given their connection to what happened to me under hypnosis I believe the session was a true catalyst for positive change in my life.

Helena

I did my very first hypnosis session with Ben/WA although I was very skeptical and sure that I would not be receptive. I however noticed quite quickly that I was wrong and that a phobia can disappear as quickly as it comes. Thanks to hypnosis I became really aware – and not just aware in theory as before – that my fears were purely the result of my thoughts and that your mind can shape these thoughts into something totally positive. When you are dealing with phobia, your rational self is striving so hard to overcome it, but the thing is that you need to fix it at the level of your subconscious mind. It unfortunately does not help to try hard to convince yourself that your fear is not rational and that you just should ignore it. Hypnosis is in this respect a brilliant tool to work on these inner mechanisms that you cannot control.

For hypnosis to be effective, it is a must to feel at ease with your hypnotherapist. Respect, serenity, presence of mind, ability to listen and alertness are just some of the many qualities that the therapist should have in order to make you feel comfortable and, consequently, for the therapy to be fruitful. This was thankfully the case with Ben/at WA who, thanks to their personal experience, turn out to be especially compelling.
